Eidak ("Platform"), operated by Marwan Samir Mostafa Atia, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.

- Account Information: Phone number, name, profile photo, role selection
- Identity Verification: National ID photos, selfie (for helpers who opt into verification)
- Task Information: Task descriptions, photos, locations, budgets, bids
- Payment Information: Transaction history, bank account details (for payouts). Card details are processed directly by Paymob and never stored on our servers
- Location Data: GPS coordinates when posting tasks or using live tracking (only when you explicitly share)
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, app version, push notification tokens
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, interaction patterns
- Communications: Chat messages between users on the Platform
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Platform services
- Match you with relevant tasks or helpers based on location and preferences
- Process payments and manage escrow transactions
- Verify identity for trusted helper status
- Send notifications about tasks, bids, payments, and platform updates
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety
- Resolve disputes between users
- Generate anonymized analytics to improve our service
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:
- Between Users: Your name, profile photo, rating, and approximate location are visible to other users when you interact on tasks. Your phone number is only shared after a bid is accepted (and may be masked through our proxy calling feature).
- Payment Processor: Paymob processes your payment transactions under their own privacy policy.
- Cloud Providers: We use secure cloud infrastructure to host our services. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by Egyptian law or court order.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted database storage
- JWT-based authentication with short-lived tokens (15 minutes)
- Rate limiting and brute-force protection
- Regular security audits
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be retained for 30 days for regulatory compliance and then permanently deleted. Chat messages and task data may be retained in anonymized form for analytics.
