What actually drives the cost up

• Floor and no lift — the single biggest factor. A 6th-floor move without a lift can double the cost or require a hoist.
• Dismantling and reassembly — wardrobes and kitchens need a carpenter, usually billed separately.
• Packing — dishes, screens and fragile items need proper materials; saving here gets expensive fast.
• Distance — moving between governorates costs more than within a district.
• Timing — start and end of month are peak demand, and prices rise.
• Narrow streets — if a large truck can't reach the building, expect a shuttle charge.

• Does the price include dismantling and reassembly?
